Pillow finder

Three quick questions, then a shortlist of pillow types to compare.

Your shortlist

PillowBrief shares ownership with some stores we mention. Read our disclosure.

    How to use the shortlist

Match the type first, then measure height on your own mattress. If you are unsure, an adjustable pillow lets you fine-tune. See our side-sleeper guide and loft guide for the method.

    Common questions

How does the pillow finder work?

It maps your sleeping position, preferred firmness and how warm you sleep to the pillow types that usually suit them, then shows example listings to measure against. It is a starting shortlist, not a guarantee of fit.

Do I still need to measure?

Yes. Height is the single biggest factor, and it depends on your shoulder width and mattress give. Use the shortlist, then check the compressed height on your own bed before buying.

    Is this medical advice?

No. It is consumer guidance for comfort choices. If you have persistent neck or shoulder pain, or numbness or weakness, seek medical advice instead.
