PillowBrief / Editorial information
How we research our guides
The current PillowBrief library is based on published information and practical editorial analysis. We do not claim hands-on testing that we cannot document.
Start with a useful reader decision
Each guide answers a concrete question about fit, materials, care, or bedroom setup. We explain the feature to compare and the limitation that could change the choice. A checklist or worksheet is our own consumer decision aid, not a clinical test or standardized performance measurement.
Make the source visible
For health context, we use public guidance from organizations such as the NHS and the US National Institutes of Health. For labeling, we reference the US Federal Trade Commission. For care, the exact manufacturer's instructions take priority over a generic cleaning recipe. Articles link their sources so readers can inspect the original context.
A merchant page can verify that a feature is advertised. It cannot by itself verify a medical result, comparative performance, trial outcome, or customer experience. We identify owned-store examples and avoid treating their advertising as independent evidence.
No invented testing or expertise
We do not invent testers, doctors, laboratories, personal diaries, measurements, ratings, review counts, or awards. A first-person worksheet is clearly presented as a blank tool for readers. Product examples are not scored winners.
If we publish hands-on testing in the future, the article must identify the exact products, dates, method, observations, commercial relationships, and limits. A test claim must be supported by a retained record before it appears.
Corrections to earlier content
On September 12, 2026, we replaced earlier articles that used unsupported expert stories, test results, ratings, and product claims. Their URLs remain available so existing links reach revised information. Those earlier claims should not be relied on. Affected articles carry a revision note.
Dates and updates
Article dates distinguish original publication from the latest substantive revision. Product availability, specifications, prices, and return terms can change; check the current seller page before purchasing. We do not silently turn a missing fact into a positive claim.
Ownership and feedback
PillowBrief shares ownership with retail stores. Our disclosure explains the relationship. Report a factual error or broken source link to hello@pillowbrief.com with the relevant page URL.
